Identity and access

When you sign up for an account at DeliveryHunt, we ask for your name and e-mail address. That’s just so you can access and personalize your new account, and we can deliver our services, send you notifications, updates, or other essential information. You can access, change or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. We’ll never sell your personal data to third parties without your permission.

Profile pictures

We send a hashed version of your account e-mail address to the Gravatar service. When you have a Gravatar account, we display your pofile picture from over there, and when not, we use a generic profile icon.


All data exchanged between our servers and your browser are encrypted via SSL. The off-site server and database backups are also encrypted.


Our marketing and application sites run on servers provided by DigitalOcean. They are located in their datacenter in Frankfurt, Germany.


We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error logs from our application. We may share your IP address and some non-personally identifiable information with them, such as referer, user agent, and so on.

Support service

When you contact us via the in-app form or an e-mail, we’ll keep that correspondence and the email address for future reference. We use our database and FastMail for this purpose.

Transactional e-mails and newsletter

We use Mailgun to send you transactional e-mails and occasional newsletter. You can change your newsletter subscription anytime in your account settings. Naturally, there is no opt-out for our transactional e-mails.

Usage statistics and tracking

use Google Analytics on our marketing pages to collect information about your behavior such as what pages do you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here, what browser are you using, and so on. In our application, we use a custom-built solution to track the app usage for statistical purposes - we collect information such as what pages do you visit, how many projects are active, and so on. This data are not connected to your DeliveryHunt account and does not contain your personal information (for example, we anonymize your IP address). We may also store any information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as it makes sense.

Email log retention

you connect your transactional email service provider, we save the received data in our database. We keep this data for 90 days. After this period, the data may still be available in our database backups and logs.

Data deletion

you cancel your account, we delete the associated data from our databases immediately. However, your personal data may still be available in our database backups and logs.

Database backups

back up our servers and databases. We keep our backups for the past 90 days, older data are deleted permanently. We use Backblaze to store these files.

Server logs

We store connection data in our log files with each access. This may include request date and time, IP address, protocol, URL, response status, referer, user agent, and so on. We do so for security reasons - to avoid malicious and unauthorized access.


A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. DeliveryHunt uses cookies to identify and track users, their usage of our websites, and their website access preferences.


DeliveryHunt may update its Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourages users to frequently check this page for any changes. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change. We reserve the right to add, change or remove certain services and practices without further announcement.
